The revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DPA) definitely in force as of September 1, 2023

The revised Swiss Data Protection Act (FDPA) passes the final hurdle: The Federal Council fixed the entering into force of the revised Federal Data Protection Act at September 1, 2023. The final text of the Ordinance to the FDPA was published as well. Switzerland, therefore, adapts its data protection law to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
