ITechLaw Conference 2022 in San Francisco, USA reportage | May 25-27, 2022

Monday, 30 May, 2022

We are glad to participate and be a part of the ITechLaw Conference 2022 in San Francisco, USA (May 25-27, 2022) — the 2022 World Technology Law Conference & 50th Anniversary Celebration — one of the biggest and most significant events for legal professionals focused on technology and law, organized by the International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw). Big congratulations to the organizers and thank you for inviting us to give a speech: Dr. Katharina Lasota Heller was participating in the discussion panel ”Navigating NFTs: What Practitioners Need to Know” and Carmen De La Cruz was presenting the all past female ITechLaw Association presidents as well as leading the ITechLaw Association I-WIN breakfast session to discuss developments in the IT world from a legal perspective.

Worth mentioning that ITechLaw is the leading global organization for legal professionals focused on technology and law. ITechLaw has been serving the technology law community worldwide since 1971. It has a global membership base representing six continents and spanning more than 70 countries.

The conference had a hybrid model. Many people attended the event either in person or online, which is a massive benefit for those who do not have much time.

Below are just some of the vast number of topics covered during the conference: Data Protection, NFTs, Metaverse, Legal aspects of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Face Scans, Fingerprints, and Voice Recognition, and Legal Risk Management.

It was also great to meet our colleagues & friends during the event from many countries.

We need to say that the conference was very successful, we learned a lot about governmental and regulatory changes, interesting legal frameworks, compliance challenges, LawTech trends, and much more.

A big thanks to everyone.
