Elif Aktug becomes the first-ever female partner of Swiss bank Pictet

Pictet is a Swiss multinational bank with 216 years of history, and it has just appointed its first-ever female partner - Elif Aktug. The company, which is based in Geneva, is one of the largest Swiss banks with more than 600 billion francs in assets. Elif Aktug was the lead fund manager in Pictet since 2011, and her work is highly appreciated in the industry, as she was named “Best Female Fund Manager” in 2020 by Hedge Funds Review. In 2019, she became an equity partner, and now she is set to start her new role on 1st September 2021. Alongside Elif Aktung, the bank appointed one more partner: Francois Pictet, a former managing director, and a member of the bank’s founding family.
