Article: The Swiss transformation into a crypto country: from economic enthusiasm to the legal consultation on a blanket ordinance for blockchain technologies

The Federal Department of Finance in Switzerland will run a consultation on the blanket ordinance in the area of blockchain to translate regulations into everyday business practices. As the Swiss Parliament passed blockchain-friendly regulations in September 2020, the technology will be regulated in terms of qualified stock rights and bankruptcy laws.  New laws will come into force in summer 2021.
