On September 7th, 2021, all cryptocurrencies went down around 20-30% when China demanded the shutdown of Bitcoin mining in Sichuan Province and banks. China didn’t stop there. As of September 24th, 2021, Chinese citizens can only invest in the Chinese electronic yuan as any other cryptocurrency is illegal — As a result, Bitcoin went down 7%.
