Article: New provisions from the DLT bill will come into force — the ombudsman affiliation requirements only for financial providers working with private clients

New provisions from the DLT bill will come into force on 1st February 2021, allowing for the introduction of ledger-based securities and register value rights. The remaining provisions from the bill are set to become effective on 1st August 2021. What will change in February? Financial providers serving only institutions or professional clients will be exempted from ombudsman affiliation requirements.
